100 Journals Project

Caroline Underwood and Victoria Trinder rocked up to the UCA and attended the busy private view. The journals looked great exhibited together and the show had been curated really well with some journals attached to the wall and others sitting side by side on shelves.  One journal had been set in a concrete block and held in a vice and this stood alone on a plinth enticing the viewers who attempted to claw through the tips pages free from its grasp.

The Creekside Artists’ journal was one of those attached to the wall. Like a winged creature it joined its flock, though now frozen in their flight they bore the marks of being passed from hand to hand.
