The launch party was fantastic, lots of people walking, talking, drinking, buying and generally having fun. This time there was a game which filled the corridor space just outside the studios that eager visitors (and resident artists) could play. Not wanting to spoil the surprise for prospective visitors lets just say it involves a few coins (pound coins work best), a wishing thrust and Damien Hirst’s mouth.
Saturday morning at the Albany in Deptford was also a raging success, drawings started appearing thick and fast quickly filling up the space. Many participants were either coming from or going to the studios and seemed excited at the prospect of really interacting with the artists and being part of such a big collaborative event.
